2005 Harley-Davidson XL883R Sportster 883R Take a look at what just came down victory lane. The Sportster® 883R motorcycle is back, and it’s cleaner and meaner than ever. We stayed true to the authentic H-D orange racing paint scheme with a racier checkered flag graphic. But this incarnation gets the full blacked-out treatment: black calipers, fork sliders, air cleaner cover, handlebars, and rear springs. We even blacked-out the rubber-mounted Evolution® engine so it looks as good as it feels. Staggered shorty dual exhaust pipes. Two-up seat and passenger footpegs. Dual front disc brakes so even stopping is fun. The list goes on. But even with all the changes, one thing remains constant. The Sportster® 883R will always have a finish line in its sights.
